Raine: The Lords of Satyr by Elizabeth Amber

Just finished the second book of this trilogy. This was about the second brother who finds his mate by entering the wrong lecture hall. She was on exhibit because "she" is a hermaphrodite. She is given to a doctor on each of her birthdays for the past 19 years to be studied by other physicians as well as interested people who bear lots of money and can pay their way in to view the "creature". They immediately create a bond of attraction. Jordan, is living a life as a man so that her families fortune is given to her upon the death of her mother rather than her dead father's side of the family.

Raine, who is looking for his true mate runs into Jordan again later that night while she is trying to run away from her captures. They were about to perform a dangerous procedure to see if she possessed an uterus, ultimately proving if she was truly male or female.

Raine takes her away, seduces her, she falls in love with him, but he was still holding out.

It was a great read with lots of awesome detail. It was bit erotic than I'm comfortable with but I took it all in stride. I'm not sure if I'm ready to dive into the next book of the youngest brother Lyon. I might save that for a later date.

8/10
