Your review is exactly what I thought of this book. Even on the first book I found it to be really badly written that at times doesn't make much sense.

Like you, I skipped to practically the end to see something -anything- happen. Really bad book. Kinda reminded me of TWILIGHT&HAPPY POTTER. Like that elixir thing. Loved your review [:

I love reading about anything to do with the Romanov family, and the mystery surrounding their deaths. This book sounds really interesting, and I like that it also focuses on a few different characters. Great review, I'll add this one to my list!
