Here’s a round up of all the contests I’ve come across recently. Check my sidebar often to see what’s new. I update as I come across them but I don’t always do this round up post. :)
If you do nothing else you MUST check out this awesome interview hosted by Kim at The Book Butterfly. She interviews Jessica Packwood of Jessica’s Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey. She’s also hosting a contest to win a copy of the book and a t-shirt!
This is one of my favorite YA vampire books and Beth is an amazing author. I first saw her guest post at Wondrous Reads. Check that out too. And if you haven’t read Jessica’s GT Dating on the Dark Side, you should! Read my review if you missed it.
We know, we know… we’ve been hinting about it for weeks. The super secret project of Kay Cassidy, Tera Lynn Childs, Alyson Noel and Becca Fitzpatrick. The #fivers hashtag. The Founding Fiver badges. The huge top secret contest. So many secrets!
Good news. The secret’s out.

It’s time for another Save the Contemporary campaign, with Dear Author, Smart Bitches, and prizes from Harlequin! This time, we’re featuring two books – yes, two. Some of the great contemporary stories are found in category romance, so we’ve picked two books that we both really loved.
Dear Author and Smart Bitches really love contemporary books so they started a website to feature the best of the best in 2009. Smooth Talking Stranger is worth a read, in their opinion, and they are encouraging others to share the good word. I know I'm a little late in celebrating the release of Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev but I can't just let it pass without giving it it's well deserved glory spot!
ELS was an amazing read. You can see my review here. It was so unique and the originality was one of the best I've ever read. The cover alone deserves to be mentioned. It's one of the prettiest I've ever seen. Even thought the artist did an amazing job you have to give props to Lisa too. Without her amazing ability to write and describe her characters this amazing cover would not exist.
Deltay of Lucid Conspiracy made a very cute trailer for ELS. Check it out:
