New Moon: Behind the Scenes

http://fusedfilm.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/new_moon_feature.jpg
November couldn't get here fast enough!

Take a peek at some behind the scenes footage by The Kyle and Jackie O Show and posted on the Twilight Lexicon.

How does Taylor do that?! He jumps a porch railing and then immediately a stream. I totally would have fallen face first into that water! Very cool to see how it was done after watching the trailer! :)

Robert's interview with Metro is now available too!

Taylor Lautner Interview

I saw this posted on Twilight Lexicon and just had to share.

How great is that picture?! I did not think the Jacob in Twilight would be the same Jacob in New Moon. I have been pleasantly surprised by Taylor's transformation. I think he is going to do a great job at portraying Jacob Black. And he's some yummy eye candy! Even if he is only 17.

There's a great interview on Metro News. Check it out!

Official New Moon Trailer!

The "Official" New Moon Teaser Trailer.

All I have to say is yum. I wasn't expecting Jacob to be so yum. I should have expected it though. I <3 shape shifters but I didn't not <3 them in this book. I was never a Team Jacob fan. This movie might change my mind though. And Edward! ARGH! I do not love Robert Pattinson as Edward! I just cringe when he talks. Sad, I know.

I'm not sure if I love the wolf though. Hubby and I were hoping they'd be true to the book. Very large wolves, bigger then bears. It's not terrible though. :)

Enjoy!

New Moon Scene Photo Montage

http://fusedfilm.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/new_moon_feature.jpg
Wow. I saw the pictures floating around yesterday from the Italy filming of the Edward and Bella reunion scene.

Don't watch if you don't want it spoiled. It's done fairly well and is quite amazing. :)

The hype surrounding this movie is tangible! I can't wait for it. Even though it's my least favorite book of the series.

Wow. And an amazing trailer by a very talented person.

ETA: This is NOT an official trailer, if anyone is confused after watching it. :)

Enjoy:

Oh, and thanks to Cinnamon over at A Journey of Books there's news, rather dated, but news the same, on the third movie, Eclipse!
From Summit Entertainment's website:

Los Angeles, CA April 22, 2009 — Summit Entertainment announced today that David Slade has been hired to direct THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on the Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The announcement was made by Erik Feig, Summit's President of Production.

Meyer stated, "I am thrilled that David Slade will be directing ECLIPSE. He's a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise. From the beginning, we've been blessed with wonderful directorial talent for the Twilight Saga, and I'm so happy that ECLIPSE will be carrying on with that tradition."

Midnight Sun: Edward's Version of Twilight

Due to illegal distribution of Stephenie Meyer's partial rough draft of Midnight Sun, she has put it "on hold indefinitely".

She has posted the partial draft on her site so readers can enjoy what little she has written.

What a shame.

Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga, Book 4) by Stephenie Meyer

So, I was so excited about getting this book that I think I worked myself up way too much.
I went to the midnight release at the local Borders and purchased the book. I stayed up until about 4:00 am that night. I didn't put it down all day Saturday, and stayed up again until 4:00 am reading. I repeated the same for Sunday and finished Monday at 4:00 am.

A lot goes down in this final book. So much that can't be said without ruining the book for anyone who hasn't read it. I think I can comment on my favorite section of the book without hurting anyone's experience and that would be the honeymoon. I'm used to reading pretty graphic adult romance so this experience was cooled down a lot but it still did Edward and Bella justice.

My least favorite part is the ending chapters. I just found it lacking. I know it wraps the story up nice and tight but I wanted more excitement. I didn't get that.

I've found myself mopping about now that the story is over. With the ending not my fave and it actually being over I'm highly depressed. I believe I'll be dapping back into some awesome fan fiction, which I can say some were much better than what Stephenie actually put out. Oh well.

I do hope she decides to write more stories that center around Edward and Bella or the rest of the family.

I'm still a lover of Twilight, the first book, as it was my ultimate favorite. Therefore, I will be looking forward to reading Midnight Sun, Edward's point of view of Twilight. The first chapter is available on Stephenie's website and it is amazing. That first book, just WOW. Second book blew for me, third book was better than the second but not as good as the first, and the last book was just okay.

I came out of this ordeal with 2 copies of the hardback and the Kindle Edition.

Twilight: Meet the "Wolf Pack"

Twilight Lexicon has a nice interview of the actors who play Sam, Embry, and Jacob in the upcoming Twilight movie due out Dec. 12. The actors look pretty impressive. I'm thrilled with the Sam choice, however, I did picture him a bit more beefed, but his choice is very good because he has the look of a mature, young male. He seems very ready for his role.
